The controversy of the Oscars 2022

This year"s Oscar awards ceremony that took place on 28 March and was full with controversy. The main problem of course was that  Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage. 

The reason of that behaviour was Chris Rock's joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's hair. Let's note that she is going through hair loss process because of the health problems. 

Will Smith in his speech said "I want to apologize to the Academy, I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees.". 

The event should have been a celebration of diversity.For example, Troy Kotsur was first deaf man to win an Academy Award for acting. But instead, audiences will remember the 2022 Academy Awards as the time a nominated actor slapped a presenter for making a crass joke about his wife.
